The amount of training depends on the skill level of the divers at the start of the training. Experienced divers, the typical RC volunteer, are usually already knowledgeable about most of the indicator organisms. Therefore a training of only one day may be enough. RC now incorporates a testing package so that volunteers who cannot pass the test are not allowed to submit data to the database.
